		<description>Comment to: http://siad.wordpress.com/2007/06/20/stop-the-islamisation-of-europe/

I think strongly that what is happening today in Northern Europe (Denmark is the best example, but the Netherlands also) is a clear sign of extreme atheism. An old, secular part of Europe finds hard accepting that other cultures still hang on to axiological values that origin in their religion. And, briefly but, the anti-Islamic European thinks in these terms:

“If I have put aside long ago my religion, so should the people of other cultures coming to Europe.”

I am Eastern European and also a non-believer, but I think that liberalism, democracy and pluralism, that are the core ideas of the Western civilization should lead to the acceptance and toleration of other cultures (and religions) on ‘European soil’.
